The Stereo Chickens play an evening of original music at The Savory Palette on the Embarcadero, with John Robbins opening.
The Savory Palette, the wine and tea house on the bayside of the Embarcadero, turns its Saturday over to live music: John Robbins opens at 6:30 PM, then The Stereo Chickens take the room for a night of originals. It’s the listening-room end of the local music spectrum, boutique wine and a charcuterie board within arm’s reach and the harbor right outside the door, in a room that hosts open mic every Thursday and built its reputation on exactly this kind of night.
Where: The Savory Palette, 601 Embarcadero, Suite 5, Morro Bay (bayside entrance in Marina Square)
When: Saturday, August 22, 2026, 6:30 to 9:00 PM
Cost: No cover; $20 per-person minimum spend
Good to know: All seats are first come, first served; the room opens at 2:00 PM Saturdays, so early arrivals can make an afternoon of it; questions at (805) 772-8388

A wine room with a Saturday house-band habit is a gift to the waterfront; what the rest of the weekend is pouring is on the Morro Bay events calendar.
