Event Series: 🍿 Sense & Sensibility at the Bay Theatre (matinee showing)

🍿 Sense & Sensibility at the Bay Theatre (matinee showing)

October 28 @ 3:45 pm - 6:00 pm PDT
$10

Sense & Sensibility runs afternoon showings at the Bay Theatre in downtown Morro Bay.

Focus Features and Working Title take a fresh run at Jane Austen with Georgia Oakley’s Sense & Sensibility, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles as the Dashwood sisters. This adaptation keeps its focus on the bond between the two romantically entangled sisters rather than on the men who orbit them, which is the smartest possible way to make a two-hundred-year-old story feel current. Rated PG, 2 hours 12 minutes, and the longest run of the fall at nearly two weeks. The matinee is the flexible slot: out by six with the whole evening ahead.

Where: Bay Theatre, 464 Morro Bay Blvd, Morro Bay
When: Friday, October 16 through Wednesday, October 28; Friday, Saturday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 3:45 PM; Sundays, October 18 and 25 at 12:45 and 4:00 PM; dark Mondays and Thursdays
Cost: $10

More Information

Austen before dinner leaves the evening for the Embarcadero; the rest of October’s plans are on the Morro Bay events calendar.
