The Siren live music venue at 900 Main Street in downtown Morro Bay, California

Roots reggae and dub artist Nick Sefakis, formerly of Iya Terra, plays The Siren on Friday, November 20 at 7 PM.

The venue bills it as a night of rising reggae, and Sefakis is the name to know: the Salt Lake City native spent years as guitarist and vocalist in Iya Terra before stepping out on his own. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and table reservations run $100 by email to monte@thesirenmorrobay.com.

Sefakis produces most of his own work at Enoch Sound Studio. His debut album Foundation reached number 2 on the iTunes reggae chart in 2020, followed by a six-song EP with John Brown’s Body singer Elliot Martin and the 17-track Hear My Sound, which features seven guest vocalists from around the world.
