The Mother Corn Shuckers throw their annual Xmas party at The Siren on Saturday, December 19, with Rose’s Pawn Shop on the bill.

The Central Coast beergrass band plays 7 to 10:30 PM, a mix of country, bluegrass, rock and roll, and jam-band music that has filled dance floors across California since 2010. Rose’s Pawn Shop brings high-energy Americana out of Los Angeles for the opening set. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door; table reservations run $75 by email to monte@thesirenmorrobay.com.

Led by songwriter Che Miller, the Shuckers have four albums out and a new one on the way. Mark Travis plays mandolin, Colleen Gnos upright bass, and Barry Johnson percussion.
