Kayak and Oyster Tasting Tours

Central Coast Outdoors and Grassy Bar Oyster Company have partnered on one of the most distinctive tours in Morro Bay – a paddle across the back bay combined with oyster shucking and tasting at the Grassy Bar farm.

The tour visits the working oyster lease in the estuary, where guides walk you through the bay’s aquaculture history, the difference between Pacific Gold and Grassy Bar cultivars, and the conditions that make this stretch of California coastline one of the country’s best oyster-growing waters. You shuck and taste fresh oysters straight from the bay.

Beginner-friendly. All gear provided. Comfortable on a sit-on-top kayak or in tandem.
