Family Fun Day at the Maritime Museum

The Morro Bay Maritime Museum throws a free Family Fun Day celebrating the waterfront, with more than thirty exhibitors built for kids.

Free admission, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the north end of the Embarcadero between the working fish docks and Coleman Beach. The museum is bringing in more than thirty exhibitors, every one of them running hands-on, educational activities for children, set around the outdoor boat collection where the town’s actual maritime history doubles as the entertainment. There’s food for the adults and free hot dogs for the kids, which settles the lunch question for a family of any size, and it lands the weekend after the museum’s Speara / Of Marshes & Morros screening at the Bay Theatre, a two-weekend maritime stretch for anyone with young sailors in the house.
