Roots-reggae band Drifting Roots plays a Thursday night at The Siren.

Drifting Roots brings island-leaning roots reggae to Main Street on a Thursday, the kind of easy-swinging set this room does especially well. Doors and dinner first, then let the offbeat carry the night.

Founder Matthew Mavericks started Drifting Roots in San Diego in 2018 before relocating the project to Florida, and the band has built its following on steady touring and a warm, surf-adjacent reggae sound.
