🎶 Live Music: Damage Inc., Metallica Tribute at The Siren

Metallica tribute Damage Inc. brings the thrash to The Siren

On Main Street in Morro Bay. Damage Inc. plays The Siren on Saturday, December 12 at 8 PM, a Metallica tribute and likely the loudest booking on the venue’s winter calendar. Taking their name from the closing track of Master of Puppets, the band runs the full Metallica arc across a night: the early thrash catalog that made the band’s name, the arena-era hits that took it worldwide, and the deep cuts the die-hards come for. It is a night built for the front of the room, not the back wall.

The Siren suits this kind of show better than a bigger venue would. The low ceiling and close stage turn the volume physical, and a room that runs a dance floor rather than a seated crowd gives the pit somewhere to happen. Tribute nights live or die on how faithfully the band commits, and a Metallica tribute has to bring both the precision of the riffs and the sheer force of the delivery to satisfy a crowd that knows every note.

A December metal night is a nice counter-program to the season’s softer holiday fare, the show for anyone who wants their winter weekend loud. Tickets run $20 to $25 at thesirenmorrobay.com, and the show is 21 and over per the venue’s evening policy. Doors and dinner open ahead of the set, with the full bar and kitchen running through the night.
