The band comes from the other side of the estuary: Baywood Famous formed in Los Osos in 2019 around frontman and songwriter Shawn Ellis, with lifelong friend Kameron Alton on bass and Luis Monge on drums, folding roots reggae, modern rock, and Hawaiian reggae into one back-bay sound. Two to five on a Saturday afternoon, no cover, kitchen and bar running through the set. Free afternoons here fill early, so claim a table before the first song. Mickey Avalon takes the same stage at 8:00 PM, if you want to make a full Siren Saturday of it.
Where: The Siren, 900 Main St, Morro Bay
When: Saturday, October 10, 2026, 2:00 to 5:00 PM
Cost: Free
Please note: this is a 21 and over event. Valid photo ID is required for entry, and guests under 21 will not be admitted.
A free reggae afternoon on Main Street is a good habit to start; the rest of October’s habits are on the Morro Bay events calendar.
