Formed in Placentia in 1979 and still touring nearly five decades later, Agent Orange built the original blueprint for combining hardcore punk energy with surf-rock guitar work, and the songs still hit. The Drowns play streetwise punk with melody and grit, a fitting companion bill for a real punk-rock Thursday in downtown Morro Bay.
The Siren is a 370-capacity room at 900 Main Street, the corner of Main and Harbor, with an L-shaped floor plan, a riser up front that holds about 70 people in prime sightline of the stage, and the kind of intimate club feel that makes a touring act like Agent Orange land harder than it would in a bigger venue. Full bar and kitchen open during the show.
Doors open at 7:00 PM SHARP. The venue closes to the public from 6:00 to 7:00 PM for soundcheck and bar prep, so no early dinner entry. 21+, general admission, first-come first-served seating outside of reserved tables. Table reservations available by emailing monte@thesirenmorrobay.com. Tickets through Good Medicine Presents.
