🎶 Live Music: Legion of Groove with The Hummingbirds at The Siren

Central Coast supergroup Legion of Groove plays a funk, hip hop, and soul dance night at The Siren, with The Hummingbirds opening.

Legion of Groove formed for the 2025 New Times Music Awards and took Performance of the Night on its first outing: rapper Gehrig Kniffen and DJ Tommy de Silva up front, drummer Gerald Purify of The Vibe Setters and Groove Collective, KB and David Escamilla on keys, vocals, and bass, and guitarist Ezra Henderson, playing hip hop, R&B, soul, pop, and funk with the ease of players who already know each other’s rooms. San Luis Obispo’s The Hummingbirds open with funk, soul, and disco built to keep the floor moving. Seven dollars in advance, the night before the Lighted Boat Parade.
