🍿 Monday Special: Speara / Of Marshes & Morros at the Bay Theatre

The Maritime Museum presents Speara and Of Marshes & Morros, two ocean films with one of them set in our own estuary.

The Morro Bay Maritime Museum takes over the Monday Special for a double bill of short films about living beside the ocean and answering for it: Speara follows a worldwide journey of communing with the sea through spearfishing, and Of Marshes & Morros tells a local story of advocacy and conservation in the estuary in our very backyard. For a town whose marsh, morros, and working water are the whole point, half this program is quite literally about home. Ticket sales benefit the Maritime Museum, with special support from the Goethe Institute in Los Angeles, and advance tickets are sold at the museum itself, a short walk down the Embarcadero from the theater, which is about the most on-message ticket counter a fundraiser could ask for.
