Timed to the fall migration, this walk covers about two flat miles of Morro Strand, past the pond and the Alva Paul Creek outflow where gulls and terns stack up around the freshwater, then on toward North Point looking for rock sandpipers. The Revel team and Mike Bush lead, and the trip is pitched at everyone from first-timers to gull obsessives; locals get their home beach re-explained, visitors get the best possible introduction to it.
