Rescheduled from Monday, October 26. Same free show, new night: Moon Darling brings layered, hazy 1970s-style psych-rock to Main Street on a Thursday, no cover, walk in off the street. Midweek free shows are how this room keeps locals in the habit, and this one earns the trip out; it also lands two days before the Witches and Warlocks Paddle, if you’re building a spooky-season week. Murder Hornets and The Ragged Jubilee open, which turns a free Thursday into a full bill.
Moon Darling, Seattle-bred and now Los Angeles-based, is built around guitarist and vocalist Michael Julian Escobar and drummer Michelle Nuño, blending muscular 70s psych-rock with dreamy, bohemian grooves; bassist Eliza Karpel fills out the low end. Their second full-length, Hearts To Blame, is due September 25, so this show catches the band just as the new record lands, with the single “Welcome Back” already out, a track whose signature guitar lick draws on Ennio Morricone’s Spaghetti Western scores.
Where: The Siren, 900 Main St, Morro Bay
When: Thursday, October 22, 2026, 7:00 to 9:30 PM (rescheduled from October 26)

Please note: this is a 21 and over event. Valid photo ID is required for entry, and guests under 21 will not be admitted.
A free Thursday show is the calendar’s best-kept habit; keep it going with the Morro Bay events calendar.
