Schooners throws an all-day beachfront Halloween party in Cayucos

In Cayucos, up the coast. Schooners marks Halloween with an all-day beachfront party on Saturday, October 31, three bands running from early afternoon into the night on the oceanfront patio above Cayucos Beach. It is the big seasonal blowout on the Beachside Live calendar, an all-ages, costume-friendly day that runs long past the usual weekend sets and turns the whole patio into a party with the ocean as the backdrop.

The music runs in three shifts across the day: 40# Feather open with an afternoon set from 1 to 4 PM, Miracle Circuit take the early evening from 5 to 7, and WAND close the night from 8 to 10. That is a full day of live music rather than the usual afternoon-and-evening pair, so you can drop in for a costume-clad afternoon with the family or stay through for the late set, or both.

Schooners sits a few steps from the Cayucos Pier with the sand right there, a full bar and menu on hand throughout. Cayucos is about ten minutes up Highway 1 from Morro Bay, an easy drive for a Halloween day by the water. Wear the costume, come early for patio seating, and plan to stay a while.
