The Cayucos Car Show fills the town with classic iron for a free Saturday, rain or shine.

Cayucos closes out fall with a car show: a full Saturday of classics, customs, and the people who polish them, free to walk, from 8:00 in the morning until 4:00, and running rain or shine. It’s the small-town version of the format, which is the good version; you can talk to every owner, the pier is a block away, and the Morro Bay contingent shows up early for the best parking. Car registration is handled online and, at press time, has moved to a wait list; the spectator side needs nothing but a morning.
