Tony plays evenings at the Bay Theatre in downtown Morro Bay, the last feature of September.

Matt Johnson directs Dominic Sessa (The Holdovers) as a 19-year-old Anthony Bourdain thrown into the chaos of a Provincetown restaurant kitchen for the summer that shaped everything after: before the books, before the television years, the origin of the cook who taught a generation how to eat and pay attention. The theatre’s own billing says it best: nobody did it like him. Rated R, 1 hour 41 minutes. The evening slot is the full ritual: dinner first on the Embarcadero or Main Street, then the short walk up to the marquee to watch a kid fall in love with restaurant work an hour after you ate in one.
