“Love Letters” at By the Sea Productions

A.R. Gurney’s classic play “Love Letters” comes to By the Sea Productions in Morro Bay, directed by Sheridan Cole.

“Love Letters” is about two childhood friends who maintain their relationship through a lifelong correspondence. As they read letters back and forth, the audience follows them from second-grade pen pals through decades of friendship, love, and the choices that shape their lives – a staged reading that builds enormous emotional weight from nothing but two actors and the words they exchange.
