DESCRIPTION:A Morro Coast Audubon walk down to Windy Cove\, the protected back-bay shoreline directly below the Morro Bay State Park Natural History Museum.\nThe focus is the habitat itself: estuary plants\, mudflat invertebrates\, the resident shorebirds and gulls\, and how the whole community changes between tides. \nEasier and shorter than most MCAS field trips\, with the museum’s restrooms and parking right above the trail.
