There is no cover\, with donations to the musicians appreciated\, and the venue is billing it as a dinner-and-a-show evening on the waterfront\, the kind of night where the music and the meal share equal billing. \nThe pairing has real history behind it. Nicholls is an indie singer-songwriter with Central Coast ties who writes straight from lived experience\, and Joseph\, a songwriter with his own catalog\, produced her Handsome Devil EP\, so the two arrive as longtime collaborators rather than a thrown-together bill. An evening set of two songwriters trading songs rewards a room that actually listens\, and a waterfront wine-and-dinner spot at sunset is exactly that room. \nThe Savory Palette sits at 601 Embarcadero in the heart of the waterfront\, and a 6 PM start catches the best of the evening: the harbor settling down\, the light going gold on the Rock\, and dinner service running through both sets.
