SUMMARY:Casino Night Luau & Silent Auction
DESCRIPTION:A pirate-luau casino night raises funds for Morro Bay Pirates football\nIn Morro Bay. The Casino Night Luau and Silent Auction takes over the Morro Bay Community Center on Saturday\, August 15\, from 5 to 10 PM\, a fundraiser for Morro Bay High School football and boosters ahead of the 2026-27 season. The night runs a pirate-meets-tiki theme across live casino games\, a tri-tip barbecue\, an open bar\, and a silent auction\, turning the community center into a one-night casino floor for a good local cause. \nBUY TICKETS HERE \nThe gaming is the centerpiece: live poker\, blackjack\, craps\, and more\, dealt all evening for players of every experience level. For serious card players\, a Texas Hold’em tournament runs from 10 AM to 5 PM with a $120 buy-in\, feeding into the evening’s main event. None of it is for real money\, of course; this is a fundraiser\, so the stakes are bragging rights and the cause rather than your bank account. \nBeyond the tables\, the tri-tip barbecue and open bar keep the night fed and watered\, and the silent auction gives everyone a reason to keep circling back to the bid sheets. Tickets are $75 per person or $500 for a table of eight\, with all proceeds going directly to Morro Bay High School football and the boosters who keep the program running. It is the kind of community fundraiser where the whole town turns out\, and the football families do the heavy lifting. \n \nFor more community fundraisers and events around the bay this summer\, see what’s coming up on the event calendar.
