SUMMARY:Orange Crush Exhibit at Art Center Morro Bay
DESCRIPTION:Orange Crush is on view at Art Center Morro Bay through Sunday\, June 22\, with members of the Morro Bay Art Association responding to a single color and concept with whatever it brings out of them.\nThe result is the kind of group show the Art Center does well: dozens of working local artists\, a wide mix of mediums\, and an organizing color that keeps a coherent thread running through the room. \nThe Art Center is in the unmistakable building at 835 Main Street\, the one with the giant Rock mural across the side. The Morro Bay Art Association has been programming exhibits and supporting working artists from this address since 1951\, making it one of the longest-running volunteer art organizations in the state. Worth knowing on the way in. \nOpen daily noon to four\, free admission. The shop in the front room rotates members’ jewelry\, ceramics\, cards\, and small works that don’t always make it into the main exhibits\, and is worth a slow look on the way out. \nIf you’ve been meaning to stop in\, the final week is the moment. The next exhibit\, Call of the Wild\, opens June 25. \nMark your calendar at hellomorrobay.com/events/. \n  \nphoto credit: https://www.artcentermorrobay.org/exhibits#xuOwqR

SUMMARY:Morro Bay High School Class of 2026 Graduation
DESCRIPTION:The Pirates send off another class.\n\n\nMorro Bay High School holds its Class of 2026 commencement ceremony on Thursday\, June 4\, at the campus on Atascadero Road. Family and friends line the bleachers\, names get read\, caps go up\, and another set of seniors moves on from MBHS into whatever comes next. \n\n\n\n\nFor the rest of town\, the practical note is traffic. Atascadero Road and the surrounding blocks get busy through the afternoon and evening. If you’re trying to get from North Morro Bay to downtown or out to Highway 1 during commencement hours\, give yourself extra time\, or consider a different route. Local restaurants will be busy with celebrating families too\, so reservations are a good call. \n\n\n\n\nCeremony time hasn’t been published yet. Check the MBHS site or call the school office at (805) 771-1845 closer to the date for exact start time. \n\n\n\n\nAdd it to your calendar at hellomorrobay.com/events/.

SUMMARY:Morro Bay Thursday Farmers' Market
DESCRIPTION:Every Thursday afternoon\, the parking lot at Spencer’s Fresh Markets fills with the SLO County Farmers Market Association’s midweek market.\nFarmers come from as far south as Goleta\, as far east as Delano\, and up from Salinas\, so the produce table runs deep: stone fruit and berries in summer\, citrus and greens in the cooler months\, plus flowers\, eggs\, and prepared food. It smells like the ocean and stocks like the valley. \nIt’s an easy stop\, right off Highway 1 at 2650 Main Street\, and it runs year-round. Bring a bag and cash for the vendors who prefer it. \nFor more markets\, tastings\, and good food around town\, see what’s coming up on the event calendar.

SUMMARY:🎶 Live Music: Agent Orange with The Drowns at The Siren
DESCRIPTION:California surf-punk pioneers Agent Orange bring their decades-deep catalog to The Siren on Thursday night\, with Seattle’s The Drowns opening.\nFormed in Placentia in 1979 and still touring nearly five decades later\, Agent Orange built the original blueprint for combining hardcore punk energy with surf-rock guitar work\, and the songs still hit. The Drowns play streetwise punk with melody and grit\, a fitting companion bill for a real punk-rock Thursday in downtown Morro Bay. \n\n\n\n\nThe Siren is a 370-capacity room at 900 Main Street\, the corner of Main and Harbor\, with an L-shaped floor plan\, a riser up front that holds about 70 people in prime sightline of the stage\, and the kind of intimate club feel that makes a touring act like Agent Orange land harder than it would in a bigger venue. Full bar and kitchen open during the show. \n\n\n\n\nDoors open at 7:00 PM SHARP. The venue closes to the public from 6:00 to 7:00 PM for soundcheck and bar prep\, so no early dinner entry. 21+\, general admission\, first-come first-served seating outside of reserved tables. Table reservations available by emailing monte@thesirenmorrobay.com. Tickets through Good Medicine Presents. \n\n\n\n\nFor everything else worth your weekend in Morro Bay\, the HelloMorroBay events calendar is the place to start.

SUMMARY:🎶 Live Music: Austin Brown at The Siren
DESCRIPTION:Country star on the rise Austin Brown brings his Ain’t Done Dreamin’ Tour to The Siren in downtown Morro Bay on Friday night\, with singer-songwriters Ernie Halter and Jeffrey East rounding out a three-act bill.\nBrown’s the kind of artist who’s built his audience on the road and online in parallel\, with 129 million TikTok views and 58 million on YouTube fueling a fast-growing live following. The Siren’s intimate room is exactly the size and stage where a working country songwriter is still close enough that the songs land like they were written for the front row. \nHalter and East both come in as established singer-songwriters in their own right\, the kind of openers who turn the early part of the night into the best part rather than the warmup nobody planned around. Plan to be in your seat by 7:30. \nTable reservations are $100 and include admission for the group\, email monte@thesirenmorrobay.com to lock one in before they sell out. Otherwise it’s general admission\, first-come first-served\, full Siren menu and bar through the show. Tickets via Good Medicine Presents. \nFor more music and events around the area\, the HelloMorroBay calendar keeps track.
