DESCRIPTION:Spring is the busiest stretch of the year at Sweet Springs Nature Preserve\, the back-bay sanctuary in Los Osos owned and managed by Morro Coast Audubon.\nThis Wednesday-morning field trip with leader Jay focuses on the season’s nesting and breeding activity – hawks\, owls\, sparrows\, flycatchers\, hummingbirds\, and ducks all in courtship\, brooding\, or feeding mode across the preserve’s coastal scrub\, freshwater ponds\, and bay overlook. \nLimited to 12 participants. Registration is required\, and selected attendees are notified by email confirmation. \nWear sturdy walking shoes\, dress in layers\, and bring binoculars\, sunscreen\, water\, and snacks.
