Four acts across an evening means short\, focused sets and a night that keeps moving\, the kind of grab-bag bill where the surprise discovery is half the point. \nShowcase nights are where a music town takes its own temperature. The Central Coast keeps a deep bench of working songwriters\, and a low-cost Tuesday at the town’s main room is exactly where the bench gets its at-bats. Come for the act you know\, leave with two more names in your phone; that is how these nights are supposed to work. \nThe Siren is the Main Street room that carries most of Morro Bay’s live music\, small\, dark\, and close to the stage\, with the kitchen and full bar running through the night.
