SUMMARY:Movement for Life Summer Barbecue Benefiting Project Surf Camp
DESCRIPTION:Movement for Life Physical Therapy opens its Morro Bay parking lot for an annual summer barbecue on Saturday\, June 6\, with every dollar raised going to Project Surf Camp.\nThe afternoon runs from noon to 4 PM at the clinic at 890 Shasta Avenue in North Morro Bay. Tri-tip BBQ\, refreshments\, community connection\, and the chance to drop off any new or used wetsuits you’re not using anymore (Project Surf Camp will put them to work). \nProject Surf Camp is a local Morro Bay nonprofit that uses surfing\, the beach\, and other ocean activities as an educational modality to build self-confidence\, self-esteem\, and self-efficacy in individuals with special needs. The camps are genuinely transformative for participants and their families\, and Movement for Life has hosted this fundraiser for them annually. \nSuggested donation is $15 for the BBQ.
